Rosa Hilfe is a Germany-wide network of qualified consulting teams, which are available for
help with questions and problems of gay life.
For 40 years in Würzburg and Lower Franconia
We, Rosa Hilfe Würzburg, have been advising gay and transsexual men and their friends and relatives from all over Lower Franconia since 1978. Our advisory group is located under the umbrella of the Gay Centre Würzburg / WuF e.V. Our team consists of men of different ages and different professions, among others from the social sector, as well as students and trainees.
We advise and help
Within the scope of our voluntary commitment we advise every Wednesday from 20 to 22 Clock via the following media:
- by telephone via the nationwide uniform telephone number 19446
- online via the social media platforms Planetromeo of the gay scene
- via email info@rosa-hilfe.de
- after arrangement and appointment also personally
These voluntary service hours every Wednesday are always done in teams of two. In addition, we meet every one or two months for joint team meetings as well as planning and organisation.
In addition, we regularly take part in further education and training courses, for example on counselling and discussion or on topics such as sexually transmitted diseases or problems of gay life in old age, and also hold case and team supervisions.
We are supported in our work by our umbrella organisation, the Gay Centre, and as a recognised initiative in Wuerzburg by the Aktivbuero of the City of Wuerzburg.
In addition, we are in close contact with cooperation partners such as the Aids advice centre in Lower Franconia, the Wuerzburg health authority, the nationwide prevention campaign IWWIT and other advice groups from the Rosa Hilfe network in Germany.
